Although welding is known as a process for connecting parts, it is one of the most important and most widely used processes in the repair and retrieval of industrial components. In this process, the heat generated by gas, electric arc or plasma arc melts coating materials such as rods, belts or wires. The coating rate is very high in the cladding process and varies between 0.5 and 30 kg/h. With this capability, the cladding process in industry is used to create thick coatings of about several tenths of millimeters to several millimeters. Similarly, different methods of cladding can be used for mass deposition on small pieces with complex shapes or large, flat and cylindrical parts. Strong adhesion between the substrate and coating, because of their melting and integration into the joint, is another advantageous quality attained whilst using cladding
